A Magical Casamona Christmas: Culture, Architecture & Celebration at the opera Macarena Club

 


This year, Casamona celebrated Christmas in a truly unforgettable way. Instead of a traditional dinner, we stepped into one of Barcelona’s most iconic cultural spaces: the historic Macarena Club. Known for its intimate atmosphere, authentic architecture, and artistic spirit, it was the perfect setting for a Christmas celebration that blended elegance, culture, and a whole lot of fun.



Dressed in our best elegant outfits, the team arrived ready for a special afternoon. The moment we stepped inside, we were surrounded by the charm of old Barcelona—arched ceilings, warm lighting, and the unique character that makes the old center of Barcelona so magical during the holidays. The venue set the tone for a celebration that felt both stylish and meaningful.

We enjoyed an incredible lunch full of delicious dishes, beautifully curated and full of flavor. With glasses of cava and wine over flowing, the mood quickly became joyful and relaxed. The combination of amazing food, great drinks, and lively conversation made the afternoon feel like something out of a Barcelona Christmas movie.

Of course, no Casamona celebration is complete without music. Soon enough, we found ourselves singing Christmas songs together, laughing, playing the piano, and even dancing under the Christmas tree. The mix of cultures in the team made the celebration even more special—everyone brought their own traditions and energy, creating an atmosphere full of warmth and international Christmas spirit.

What made this day truly memorable wasn’t just the location or the food, but the sense of togetherness. Celebrating in such a unique, artistic, and authentically Barcelonian space reminded us of how special it is to work in an international team in such a vibrant city. It was a moment to appreciate our achievements, our collaboration, and the friendships we’ve built over the past months.

Our Christmas lunch at Macarena wasn’t just a celebration—it was an experience. A perfect blend of culture, architecture, great food, laughter, dancing, and community.

As we move into the new year, we carry with us the energy of this wonderful day and the excitement for everything still to come at Casamona.
