Why should you become an intern at Casamona International? An interview with our prevoius Marketing Coordinator
Why should you become an intern at Casamona International?
After 3 months we had to say goodbye to Kim. She did her internship in the Marketing department at Casamona International and to celebrate one last time, Tine invited us to her apartment and ordered Sushi for us. Afterward, we sadly had to say Goodbye to Kim, but Mara, another Marketing intern, asked her a few questions before she left.
Mara: Kim, you’ve been an intern at Casamona for the last 3 months, tell us about your experience.
Kim: I was the Marketing Coordinator from the beginning of August to October and I can tell you it’s been incredible
three months. In this relatively short time, I was able to learn so much and grow as a person. In the
marketing department, we have lots of different tasks from photo visits to making designs for the
website or social media. I was able to try everything and find out what I’m passionate about in
marketing. I also got the opportunity to be the marketing coordinator which helped me to see that
I am definitely interested in being a coordinator in the future. I think this was only possible because
Casamona gives the interns a lot of trust and really wants them to learn as much as possible.
Mara: Do you think you could have learned the same things in a bigger company?
Kim: I think it’s much better to do an internship in a smaller company like Casamona if you want to
do different tasks and really find out what you’re good at. In bigger companies, you probably won’t
be able to try as many different things and you will probably also not be able to be a coordinator. At
Casamona, you can even try different tasks in different departments.
Mara: What type of person do you have to be to become an intern at Casamona?
Kim: You should be open, willing to learn, and be proactive. To really use all the possibilities Casamona
offers, you must be curious, ask a lot of questions, and tell the office managers if there’s something
else you would like to do. Then I’m sure you’ll have an amazing time and learn a lot.
Mara: Thank you so much for the interview, it was very nice working with you and we wish you all
the best!
We are very sad that Kim is leaving, but we have a lot of nice memories with her and wish her all the best for the future.
