Working with people from all around the world should be everyone’s dream and why not do it now?

How to choose an internship?

This depends on you. Based on your studies, your skills or maybe your ideas about what you want to do in the future, you can choose your department. Casamona is organized into three major departments, each of them requiring different skills. If you are creative, good at writing, you like taking photos or enjoy working on video projects, the role of a marketing agent would suit you perfectly. As an OM – Office Manager – you need to like being a coordinator as your main job will be to train new interns, talk with the clients and owners, mainly working with a lot of people. If you are good with numbers and enjoy the business area, then you can be a sales or rental agent. This means you will mostly be in touch with new clients and owners; the connection between them offering support and help.

How can you apply?

Simple! After you have decided which department is best for you, you can send us your CV and Cover Letter at recruitment@casamona.com. After that, an Office Manager will contact you. The next step is a Google Form that you have to complete.  After that comes the interview. Don’t run away! It’s not scary at all, it can actually be quite fun if you are well prepared. Answer some questions about yourself and tell us why you want to be part of our team. Read our descriptions carefully and see if you have the skills already or if you need to improve them. There’s always space for improvement, and if you want something, you should go for it!

What is it like to be an intern at Casamona?

The beginning can be difficult, but working with our company you will gain a new international family.
Right now we have interns from all over the world, from Europe to South America and Africa. We know how to help each other; we laugh together, eat and enjoy our free time together. Barcelona is one of the greatest cities in Spain and living here, especially during the summer, is amazing. Besides that, the architecture, sports, history, music – they all give this Catalonian city a vivid bohemian vibe. Additionally, the Mediterranean Sea with its amazing beaches is just the cherry on top!
Our international team is waiting for you! Hurry up to meet us all and have one of the best experiences of your life. We’re telling you now, in the end, you won’t want to leave! It’s important to take every opportunity, why not start with an internship at Casamona?
For many of our interns, working at Casamona is the first time they’ve really been in an office environment. When you say the word “intern” people often imagine someone running around making coffee and manically photocopying. We can assure you that an internship at Casamona is so much more than that.

The best thing about working here is the flexibility. Of course, people are hired and placed into certain roles based on their skills and previous experience, but these roles aren’t set in stone. Here you have the freedom to either build on your own experience or try something completely new. It’s the perfect environment for those who don’t know what they want to do in the future, as it allows you to explore many different things.
Even if you’re an office manager, you are still able to take your own clients, and if you’re a rental agent who loves to write blogs, you can also be involved in marketing. It’s a great opportunity to find out what your skills are, what you enjoy, what you don’t and maybe also what you might consider pursuing when it comes to making a career choice. Of course, you will receive guidance from the managers at Casamona, but what you make of your time here really does depend on you. If you’re motivated and really use your initiative, this internship will set you up with skills for life.
