The story of the Intern who transformed Casamona

The story of Nicolas V.

Throughout the years, many interns have joined the Casamona family and each of them has a story to tell. In fact, we are interested in hearing how their careers continue to develop and how Casamona has helped them along the way.

 Ten years ago, 22-year old Nicolas V. came to Casamona from France. At the beginning, he researched new properties to list on our website, communicated with landlords, and followed up with the clients.
“I got to experience various sides of the real estate business from my first day on the job. It felt like a big deal as a 22 year-old student”, said Nicolas.

 In only one year, he became a business manager. He was running daily operations and dealing with various situations at Casamona. He also contributed greatly to the company's growth. For instance, he developed the rental department from scratch.
Tine Mathiassen, owner of Casamona, remembers Nicolas as a very ambitious intern who was always eager to learn and develop new things. Although she thought he was too young for such a difficult job, he ended up making her proud. Today, 50% of the company's income is coming from the rental department that Nicolas developed ten years ago.

 For the past seven years, Nicolas has been working at Swarovski - a premium jewellery company. Nicolas considers his days at Casamona as a stepping stone to his career. Indeed, he learned how to “run a business, scale it and work as part of a dynamic team.”
Moreover, he very much appreciates the company's culture. “No matter how long you join the company for, you will feel part of a strong Casamona Family from day one.”
